2011 NAS Championships - How to guarantee a refund!
22 SEAT DRIVERS NEEDED FOR THIS YEARS CHAMPS.
The success of the NAS Championships has always rested on having members who volunteer to drive the 22 Seat Buses from the Station to Bullocks Flat and return on a daily basis.
All this driving is below the snowline and our previous drivers did this out of the goodness of their own hearts.
In an effort to encourage attendees to volunteer for these duties a refund of $50 per day driven was successfully trialed last year. It enable those personnel who did that little bit extra to be recompensed for their efforts.
The championship committee wishes to offer those personnel who undertake any of the 2011 Championships daily driving duties with a $50 refund per day driven. (ie:drive two days get $100 back, drive 3 get $150 ... you get the idea)
At the welcome meeting for the Championships on Sunday 31st July 11, the transport co-ordinator (Squiz Taylor) will have a drivers roster and at the end of the meeting will co-ordinate/allocate driving duties to the volunteers.
The only requirements to be able to volunteer for these duties is:
1. The volunteer has to hold a current ADF drivers license with an ADF4 rating, and
2. The volunteer has to have their 'Blue Book' endorsed for the ADF4 (Rosa) vehicles.
Note: Holding a civilian "22 Seat' Light Rigid endorsement (or higher) is not enough, you must have an endorsed ADF Drivers License.
